With transvaginal ultrasound scan, we are able to measure the size of the follicles in ovaries and assess if they are growing. In IVF cycles all follicles are measured. In Ovulation induction the dominant follicle(s) are measured. Accurate measurement of the follicles is very important in the outcome of the treatment. This is when the expertise of the operator is much needed.
