IUI (Intra-Uterine Insemination) is a form of fertility treatment where washed and concentrated sperms are put in the cavity of the womb. The procedure is similar to having a pap smear where by a means of a small tube going through the neck of the womb into the cavity of the womb , where the sperms are placed. The procedure is done around the time of ovulation which could be spontaneous/natural or induced by medications.
